Welcome to the Latin America and Caribbean Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates. Our Chapter groups around 40 countries and currently has more than 100 active members. We are pleased to see that we are progressively incorporating new members with a high motivation and desire to strengthen our organization.
The chapter aims to promote the professional development of its members and create ties that allow us to work together across borders to combat transnational organized crime. We traditionally hold an annual retraining conference where current professional matters are presented with the participation of prominent FBI agents, chapter associates and special guest speakers.
During the 2024 retraining session the Dominican Republic was chosen as venue for the 2025 event. We are working actively with the FBI International Operations Division, the Legal Attaché's Office of the Region, Dominican law enforcement authorities, and several local and international partners, in anticipation of a great event, in a country known by its beautiful beaches and landscapes.
The FBINA graduates from the region has great expectations about attending this Retraining session, that for first time will be held in the Dominican Republic.
Working together as one we will reach our goals as part of a great network of law enforcement professionals.
