Oregon Chapter

Chapter Overview

The Oregon Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates is an active law enforcement organization in the State of Oregon. Our Chapter has approximately 230 members comprised of active Law enforcement members and a strong contingency of retired law enforcement executives. Our diverse membership utilizes resources across the state allowing us to stay connected and achieve our yearly goals. Our chapter’s intent is to provide useful training for all our membership and be a resource for the law enforcement community. We have established a great partnership with our state police academy expanding our abilities to not only provide training to law enforcement entities but allow other governmental and stakeholders with interests in the criminal justice system to become educated and participate in our seminars. Our Fall Conference targets trends in current law enforcement issues and practices and allows our membership to participate in several networking opportunities. Each year we host regional lunches and a summer barbecue as a way to outreach and stay connected with our chapter members.

Our chapter has put an emphasis on providing educational opportunities for individuals seeking a career in law enforcement or as a way to meet their full potential in their respective career choice. We have created two $1000 scholarships that are awarded to students attending an accredited college. As a chapter we ensure we are sending enthusiastic and commitment candidates to the FBI Youth Leadership Program. In recent years, we have partnered with the Portland Office of the FBI and the Oregon Police Academy to host a very successful teen academy.
